Two place There are two place. One we called it Mainland. Another is called Taiwan. We could check the map. Are they different ? Yes !

Someone can't accept there are two different country. So, we use two governments for our title. One is "Repulic of China" http://www.president.gov.tw/en/ !! and another is "The People's Republic of China" http://english.gov.cn/ !! Are they different ? Yes ! ~
